Hi,

I´ve had adult acne for the last 5 years, I have since then find out the underlaying issue was dairy (found out I'm lactose intolerant).
I have been cutting out Dairy totally for a little more than 1 month.

I don't have any active acne but i still have these red spots.
I´m using sunscreen daily.

Is there anything you could suggest?
Maybe all i can do is to wait till my skins naturally heals?

Thanks

Have you tried salicylic acid?

There are many products available of low to high doages. I dont know the dosage of the patches...however, used throughout evening and nightly could be of help. Basically, depending on your schedule

If you dont want to use the patches, you could consult a compounding pharmacy regarding salicylic acid put into anoncomedogenic base (I use versa base lotion). You could start low ata 2% , 3%or 4% and go from there. I can now use 15% without issue. It has helped with redness. If you get compounded, don't get more than 30g at a time if you'll be trying out different strengths.

There are washes available with salicylic acid. A search on what others use could be helpful as well.

Not too much you can do, but you could for sure try fish oil pills. 5-6 a day. In clinical studies, they help people heal faster after surgery, so they think fish oil is a healing agent.
