I'm only 17 and have been dealing with this issue for the past year, with my prominent red nose my life really is hell, I don't feel comfortable socially anymore and I avoid social situations and interactions and don't want to leave the house.

Is this rosacea and can it be fixed? I really really don't like this and it makes me really unhappy. These are meant to be the best years of my life... I just feel like "why me?" because people tend to get rosacea at age 40+ but I've got it now

If its rosacea then its more likely a product your using on your skin.stop using it or change to something thats more friendly to your skin type.

I agree. And you're 17.. enjoy life dear. Rosacea, (well this is just for me, I hope no one gets me wrong again, lol) is more tolerable than having acne or acne scars for the rest of your life. Scars are scars and I don't think they can be totally eliminated.

You will get better. Spend time with your true friends who don't care about red nose. :)

If your not using skin care products. You could try washing your nose, two times a week with head and shoulders shampoo. It is a real redness killer.

when I get redness like yours i get it on the sides of my nose. Male face damp, apply head and shoulders, wait a minute or until it starts tingling, then rinse it off.

is strong, don't use daily. After a week, will be better. At least, I was...
