Slight Burning Sensation - No Obvious Causes?

Yesterday I developed some strange red patches between my eyes and either side of my mouth. They're not really aggravated and bright red, but you can tell they're slightly affected. It also feels like a bit of sun burn, but I've not been exposed to sun this weekend.

What kind of treatments can I use to calm and soothe these areas? Is E45 an ideal cream to use?

Thank you!

Are you using BP, or on the regimen? If you are then that would be the cause, when I used BP, my inner cheeks would suffer the worst from what you described.

I have not used BP in almost 2 weeks now, and the redness hasn't really changed, I'm using a self tanner morning and aha night and there is not much difference.

Nope. I'm not using any medication, and haven't for a while. The last week or so my face has been fine bar a few spots, but it's bearable and certainly not worthy of medication.

These random red patches occur quite frequently though unfortunately, and it takes a while for them to return to normal. This time (as in the ones i've got this weekend) are a little more irritable than normal, and as I said before feel a little like sunburn, but it's not.
