Hi guys! I have struggle with acne, scarring, dry patches and bumps as long as I can remember. Before summer, I started using a new foundation (true match from Loreal). I really liked the texture of it, the color match and the coverage. As always I got spots, but I'd never considered it to be because of my makeup. But, in the summer I kinda stopped using the foundation. And by a few weeks, I really could see a difference with my face. Not lots of new spots or whiteheads, my face looked so much more clean! I was really happy and looked forward to school. But then again I started to use my True Match foundation, and now, by only 2-3 weeks, my skin is really bad. Whiteheads, redness, spots... You name it. So now, I really believe I have to change foundation!
So do you recommend a nice foundation with "clean" ingredients, that doesn't break you out? It has to be medium+ coverage. It doesn't have to be a completely matte finish, but it need to last long without getting too shiny. I do have some dry areas at my face too, so it would be nice if my new foundation could handle it too, without looking cakey or too much, you know..
I'm sorry for the long description, but I would be really happy for some new foundation tips! Prize isn't very important, as long as I know the brand, and as the product work! Thank you so much!
have you tried garnier bb cream for oily to combo skin? i also like cover girl ready set gorgeous foundation. those dont break me out.
but if your looking for clean, try looking things up or copy and paste ingredients on http://cosdna.com/eng/ and look for ones with little or no numbers.
I don't typically wear foundation, but if I did, I would start with this one: Stay Matte Liquid Mousse. I hope you find the review helpful. It is a very affordable product and I have seen videos of women applying it. It gives very good coverage.
