I'm at that "magical" age at which I want to start using an anti-aging product. Problem is, every product I see either is labeled as a "cream," or the packaging makes no mention of it being non-acnegenic/hypoallergenic.
I've read positive reviews about the Olay Regenerist product line but don't know that it would work for someone who's skin develops cysts/nodules. If anyone's tried a specific product in this line, or any other anti-aging product that's worked well for you, please, share it.
My main concern for now is my under-eye and forehead areas; I'm not brave enough to slap an anti-aging product on the rest of my face just yet, when I don't know how it might affect my skin, much less how it might interact with my acne medications.
Thank you,
PI
I would take a look at Artistry skin care products from Amway. The Youth Xtend products (while expensive) don't break me out. They're on a pharmaceutical grade (department store brands like clinique are on par with Artistry for that). I use the protecting and enriching creams am/pm, but i used the wash, serum, and toner before I realized I needed something medicated. They have eye creams as well.
And yes, a cream is heavy, but they have lotions as well. I find that creamy products are better for my dry, acne prone skin.
i used to use the olay regenerist deep hydration cream and it was the best stuff ever but they recently changed the formula which made me so mad. it really plumped up my skin nice and never broke me out. its really too bad. i love kinerase products even though they are pricey they are good for fine lines and help to plump the skin. i buy their stuff on ebay its a lot cheaper.
as far as under eye cream i love clinique all about eyes it hydrates so well and is great for those puffy eyes.
