I don't think I've seen many primers with SPF, however I can say that the best SPF that I've ever come across for acne prone skin is the SK:N SPF 30 as it is so light you don't even notice that you've got any on! It also lasts forever.

I always follow up with w7 Camera Ready primer which mattifies the skin and any shine from the SPF.

Both of those products are 100% non comedogenic. You can check every ingredient and you won't find any nasties :D

I use smashbox photo finish light. It's formulated for acne prone and oily skin types. Maybe give it a try.

Smashbox's Photo FInish More than Primer Blemish Control is pretty good. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it. It's the ONLY primer I have tried and loved that will not leave me oily and actually do what it says.

MAD Minerals, the vendor I'm sampling & reviewing right now in another thread, has an untinted SPF powder with zinc oxide & titanium dioxide, the most common physical sun blocks, which is better than chemical sunblocks, some of which cause cancer, pollute the water when you wear it swimming, etc. It's cheap, & never spoils. I have tubes of sunscreen years old now that I never used & just need to throw away.

I use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 100 Dry-Touch for my very pale skin as both a primer, moisturiser and broad spectrum SPF. The SPF 100+ thing is a little ridiculous as there's not much difference in terms of sun protection between this and SPF 50 but I really like that when I rub it in and then blot with a piece of tissue it dries to a powdery kind of texture that's easy for me to put my powder mineral make-up on over (which has added SPF protection) and it leaves a slightly white cast to the skin, for me this looks like my natural skin colour and gives a little bit of coverage over the redness from my acne, it also means that I use less make up on my face afterwards.

I'd rather have a 3-in-1 product because I don't like smearing layers of products on my skin which is already inflamed and sensitive due to spots. The only thing I don't like about this sunscreen is that it's not fragrance free and it has a lot of active ingredients so it may not be suitable for people with really sensitive skin. Also the slightly white cast it leaves may look ashy or noticeable on people with medium to dark skin.

This doesn't have SPF, but Sephora brand silicone and oil free primer is the only primer that hasn't broken me out. It's not as effective as a silicone-based primer, which smooths and perfects the skin surface, but it doesn't cause clogging and long-term damage. (Every time a product heavy in silicone touches my face, I break out in tiny cosmetic acne bumps.)

Good luck!

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer with SPF 15! An amazing primer for oily skin that does notbreak me out.
