Hey all! For anyone who's used it, what did you think about Tarte's Amazonian clay BB tinted moisturizer? I'm about to run out of my Neutrogena Healthy Glow Sheers (which tbh I didn't find too great, but that's for a whole other topic lol) and was reading up on other tinted moisturizers I could try. I've read some really good reviews on the Tarte one and since it's oil free and supposed to be made without harsh chemicals and what not, I thought I'd give it a go. Also, are there any other tinted moisturizers that you'd recommend? Preferably oil free and noncomedogenic?
I've been using Tarte Tinted Moisturizer for a few months now and I really like it. I have very red skin and was breaking out horribly for 8 months before my derm put me on another course of accutane. I've been on 3 courses before and am 35 y/o. I have very dry skin,
(a result of my previous accutane courses) and quite a lot of redness. I can't use most mainstream toiletries and cosmetics because of ingredients, but Tarte cosmetics work well for me.
It sounds like it would be very light coverage, but it's more medium coverage and you can layer it, 1 layers looks really natural.
I've got down to using 1 layer and spot concealing with Tarte concealer (both the stick and liquid, depending on how dry my skin is that day). Their foundation is also really good, but can be very drying and look heavy is not blended well.
If it is too expensive for you, just wait for their Friends & Family sales, usually in August and December (30%) off, and sign up for their Birthday club. Their colour selection chart really helps to pick your colour, but you can go to Sephora to test also.
I bought this product about a year ago. I don't wear make-up daily but I whip it out for special occasions. I like that it's lightweight and safe for sensitive skin. It didn't make me break out at all. In fact, my skin actually looked a little more "glowey" and radiant after I took it off.
