www.thepenmen.com

it's a concealer specifically designed for men. It's relatively new to the market and I think would be of less quality compared to women's concealers but I was thinking that it might be much easier to blend and address issues that men are really concerned with.

I ordered mine last week so I guess i'll let you know how it goes. I'm almost certain i ordered the wrong shade for my skin.

it was dry and of very very low quality. I knew that it wouldn't live up to the hype because they don't have nearly as much money and experience as 'women's foundations' but I guess when you're desperate...

You can't even blend the thing in it's like dry mud.

Just a note, makeup made "just" for men is......ridiculous and not possible. It's a gimmick.

It's like saying Diet Coke is just for women when in reality it's just that more women happen to drink Diet Coke. Then they made Zero Coke which is practically the same thing in different, more manly packaging so men will buy it.

All makeup can be worn by both genders so this should broaden the pool of products for you. Just look for something that looks natural and won't draw attention to itself

I say just use women‚„s concealer. What's the problem?

I agree with NessaV on this one. I mean, they really do not have years of experience with their products like women‚„s makeup does. I really think if you want to use a concealer, try going with Neutrogena's. Neutrogena is for men and women, so it should work well, and if you are embarrassed about using a women‚„s product this shouldn't be a problem because it's sort of for everyone. :)

You should give it a go. Wish you luck!

Same with my murad light concealer i have. Its so dry that it looks like dry mud too. Does not blend in on rougher skin at all like my chin. If i get a small one on my cheek or something then it works ok, cause skin is smooth there, but hard to use concealer over shaved stubble without it making a mess for everyone to notice even more.

Try the Almay Smart Shade Concealer. Dan uses it (and so do I). :)

You know no offence to Dan, but his bloody skin looks clear and scar free. I don't really get satisfaction knowing 'dan uses it' because he could use the most light thing like a tinted moisturizer and it'd cover his 'blemishes'. I'm talking about real, indented and raised scars. Some are red but others are skin coloured.

The only reason why I got desperate for the menpen was I thought it might be created for really easy blending. But yeah, I knew it wasn't going to be great but when you're that desperate.

I'm starting to wonder if you guys get some sort of profit from Almay you recommend it so much. Plus I've used the Almay smart shade concealer and it's VERY sheer pretty much no coverage when it dries. I use the Almay fine line eye concealer and it's a little better but even that is a little too sheer.

holy shit! I just bought one,

I have brown skin so it's always a challenge for me to find a concealer that would be suitable for my skin tone..

I am already using a product which I'm really satisfied about, it's a local brand called Fanny Serrano. It really does work very well in concealing however it doesnt stay as long as I want too, it stays for just about 4-5 hours.

So I a trying this one out.. I'll let you guys know if it worked for me

You could get help at a makeup counter. It would allow you to try the product before you buy. They would help you pick the perfect shade for your skin tone and give you tips on applying it.

The Men Pen is absolutely useless. It's as dry as anything, extremely low quality and next to impossible to blend in. Considering a concealer is supposed to hide marks, this just makes them more obvious. Bare Minerals Foundation is the best, even if it is marketed towards women.

I use bareminerals and it is amazing! It looks and feels like you have nothing on your skin.
