I've been dealing with minor acne for 3-4 years so i seek for doctor. Now my main doctor advised me to take Azithromycin twice a day for 30 days, but the pharmacist advised that using it for 30 days could harm my liver and suggested limiting it to just 7 days. I'm unsure which advice to follow. Can anyone provide guidance?

I can only give you my experience. I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you if what they are saying is right or wrong.

In my own experience, antibiotics were a bad joke. They did nothing. They didn't work at all. Total and complete waste of time.

Also, limiting how long you take antibiotics is very important for your overall health, and only taking antibiotics when you really need them is prudent. Keep being your own advocate and make sure you're doing the right thing for your health.

Also, you're saying you just have mild acne. So I would ask your doctor what antibiotics will do for your acne, especially if you can only take them for 30 days. Maybe you will get a bit clearer for 30 days but what happens after that? I really don't understand.

Also keep in mind that for mild acne, The Regimen works really well. That's what finally worked to completely clear me up.
