I used The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution back in March of this year on some hyperpigmentation while I was 7 months into my Accutane course (I left it on for maybe only 5 minutes because I realized how terrible of an idea it was). Although it didn't leave me with any chemical burns, nearly all of the hyperpigmentation has become pitted scars. I now know that you're not supposed to use chemical peels and acids for 6+ months after finishing Accutane, so could the pitted scarring be a result of the peeling solution?
That is a great question. I haven't heard this one before, so I'm not sure. For some reason, my gut tells me it wouldn't cause any scarring if you just used it once, but yeah, you're right, Accutane is so powerful that you're supposed to completely leave everything else out of the equation. If you get a good answer to this, please share it with everyone.

Thank you for your response!Yes, my gut tells me the same thing. Also, I haveheard different opinions of doing chemical peels and other procedures while on Accutane--some people say that theyabsolutely should not be done while others say that new information was released a few years ago andthat they can be done with no adverse side effects whatsoever. Do you know which view is correct?
