Some people don't...you might get lucky. I had some ib, but it wasn't as bad as they made it seem...I started in applying it gradually, first twice a week, then 3x, then 2 days on, one day off, and worked up that way. Any time I felt it was getting overwhelming, either with the purging or sensitivity/dryness, I just took a night off to let my skin "catch up". I also used some bp cleanser and spot treatments. Using BP products in the morning help with the IB, if it happens. I used clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide gel.
