Hi, I have my first appointment tomorrow, annoyingly my skin is looking pretty good just now!

Im 42 and have suffered most of my life, although it was kept under some control for many years with Dianette but I had to stop taking that due to my age and then tried everything under the sun for many years before going to the GP for help.

I have found out the hard way I am very allergic to any tetracycline, although for the short time that I took them I could really see them working like a miracle!
I took the antibiotic that starts with an E and it was so so but after 6 months it stopped working.
GP agreed to my trying Dianette again and I have just finished 3 months of it (thus skin being reasonable at the moment) but it put my blood pressure sky high so thats that out.

I think im reacting badly due to being older and does anyone have any advice on what to expect at the dermatologist tomorrow and if they will be able to help at all.

Well i was prescribed Roaccutane, well I will be if my bloods are ok which I gave today, they are going to send me out a further appointment and all being well I should get my prescription.
I didn't need to get any parts of my body out, which was a relief at my age!
