I read often, that people seem to have "only" moderate joint pain so they continue... and many other symptoms. If your joints/muscles hurt, and you are fatigued, does that not seem to indicate the drug is toxic to muscles, joints, bowels etc- even long term? Same with hair falling out...
I think doctors give this stuff far too easily. I understand some people have severe cystic acne, and their problem is pain and complete inability to have a normal life, so they may decide to risk it... but anyone else... nowadays, even some very mild, cosmetic cases are given tane.
BECAUSE DUDE, for every ONE person like you, there are >1,000 casually roaming about who will tell us that the sides fade after their course. THAT RISK IS WORTH IT TO US. AND IT WAS WORTH IT TO YOU TOO. Acne has destroyed many of our lives and self esteem. What you should do instead of vomiting all over the forums is help people learn prevention while they are on the drug, like the many supplements I told you I was on. Mind over matter is magic! And it works both ways. Think about your side effects, youll suffer. Dont think, they tend to fade away. Help people to not think about them once theyve taken the plunge!

Tane works, but effects can be long term and debilitating. If you have reached the end of the road, very severe acne interfering with life, then you think.
I however think nobody with anything less than very severe acne should even consider this.
Supplements also may or may not help. I tried some myself. I still think some doctors give this too easily.
For all its worth, I hope tane helps you, and you don't end up in cycles of having to take it over and over.
Well, I think he is speaking objectively as he has not taken Accutane. But his point is still solid. It should be the responsibility of the doctors prescribing Isotretinoin to keep this complicated drug out of the systems of, essentially kids, with mild to moderate acne. Even though myself, a permanent side effect sufferer, I admit that the stats suggest the drug is tolerated fairly well. But, who's to say that teenage boy/girl with mild to moderate acne won't disappear on its own by the time they are 25?
I don't really want to get into this, as I've been on this forum for 10 years, and these debates do repeat over and over, but let me ask you this: 30 million people have taken this drug. If say 1% are affected adversely by severe side effects. That's 300,000 lives are you throwing under the bus. Solely for your acne, which mostly resolves on its own by the time you are an adult.
Let me tell you, being one of those 300,000, and feeling like collateral damage is not a good feeling. It's not like we are on here whining, we just want a change in policy. Reasonable change. That's not too much to ask for, considering.
