Hi all,
So I was put on accutane in the middle of May. My acne was not horrendous, but definitely noticeable and I could not stop picking at it so my parents and dermatologist decided, against my wishes (like I agreed but argued strongly against it), to put me on accutane. I am a male, 6 feet tall, and weigh just under 160 pounds. The dose was 80 mg for the first couple months, then I moved up to 100, then in October finally I switched to absorbica and have stayed at the 100 mg mark. Do you agree that this is a ridiculous dosage and am I justified in stopping behind their back because I can't do it anymore? I can't deal with these side effects (have not ran since June/July) anymore. It is aburd. And if I even ask them, its the same old, "Oh but you have come this far don't stop now." Yea, well its been 7 months on 100 mg. My face is clear besides scars. What do ya'll think?
Thanks,
Jack

Yea it has been brutal. I go in tomorrow, hopefully this is the end. If no, I will lose it on her haha. Can't do this anymore
