Does Retina A 0.1% concentration cream cause better results after Accutane?

My Background Story:
I recently finished a 6-month Accutane course where I endured flaky, thin, dry crumbly scaly skin, dry eyes, peeling lips. With two months left in my course, I had completely clear skin that made me so happy. I finished Accutane with a smile on my face and no worries ahead of me. A week after finishing Accutane, my skins texture transformed from smooth and non-oily to rough, oily and full of little pimples that I could not pop. I noticed the bumps starting to form on my forehead, which is my most troubling spot. I went to the doctor and they told me that I should use Retina A cream as it is designed to banish those little pimples, especially on my forehead. After a week of using this medicine, my skin is worse. My face is flaky and looks similar to the conditions that I endured during Accutane treatment.
