Hi guys. I've been considering going on accutane for the last couple of months as I tried so many topical creams and antibiotics and none of them worked. However, I got terrified of using isotretinoin when I started reading about all the possible side effects. I really dont know If going on this medication is worth it. It doesnt have a big impact on to self esteem, I've learnt to accept it, but it kind of does ruin my appearance I'm not gonna lie...Thanks in advance xx
Hi there, I used to take accutane for 8 months at four years ago, it clear my face. Then my acne came back last year, so i took accutane again for one and half year, now my face is clean again.
Side effect for me was just dry lips, sometimes my joints feel sore, thats it.
For me, it's totally worth trying accutane. Talk to your doctor, to see what does of accutane that they suggested and understand the side effects that may caused.
