I have been using a Clindamycin/Benzoyl peroxide Gel (1%/%5) for almost 4 years now and has always worked. Mine comes premixed so its easy to use. I am actually still using it today. You should see results quickly (maybe 1 to 2 weeks or even a few days if your acne isnt that bad), and I never had an initial breakout using it.

When it comes to blackheads, I am not sure of its effects. But if there is bacteria causing the blackheads, then it should work for those also. I normally get inflamed pustules, and its highly effective. I ALWAYS recommend this combo to people who struggle with acne. Just make sure you apply moisturizer BEFORE you use the combo.
