Accutane side effects disappeared after 2 months?!

I joined acne.org entirely to ask this question as I can't seem to find an answer or anyone in the same situation.

I started Accutane (Isotroin) just over 2 months ago now - 30mg for the first month and now 60mg (maximum dose). I got the expected dry lips, dry skin/scalp, redness and little bit of back pain. Now, for the past week and a half I have noticed my skin gradually becoming less dry and more oily. My lips are still dry but nowhere near as bad as they were and the redness seems to have gone down a lot.

Now I'm worried that it's stopped working or my dose isn't high enough, because after everything I researched and read on Accutane before I began my course, the DRYNESS was the biggest inconvenience for everybody throughout the whole course - continuing until after they ceased their course.

Has anybody had a similar experience or is this normal?

:)

Well I dont think you can build a immunity, but im sure your body is getting adjusted to it therefore being less dry like when people start retin a red skin peeling dryness are usually reduced in 6weeks is it less effective nope. So dont stress too much stressing might cause breakout and you might think its the drug nkt working. Keep your head up.

Well, I had dry and sore lips and that was pretty much it but they haven't been really dry or sore for ages. I was worried I wasn't absorbing the tane but I must be as my skin is clear, I have one month left of an 8 month course.
