Hello,

I have been off Accutane for almost 2 months now. Is it safe to get a Brazilian wax? This will be my first Brazilian waxing experience and I dont want to make it any worse than its already going to be! Can anyone chime in with some experience? Thank you so much

Did you get an answer from anyone or get the Brazilian? If so, howd it go? Ive been looking for the identical advice. I completed a seven month Accutane course October 13 and I would like to get a Brazilian mid-January (3 months after). I have had Brazilians before. I have a male derm who doesnt think itll be a problem; however, I do not wish to have a skin ripping off malfunction down there lol. I am still sensitive to the sun so I would assume that means my skin is still thin..and I should probably drop this plan?
PS.Im only considering it because my derm said shouldnt be a problem after month

I would definitely wait longer than a month! I used some hair removal cream after 3 weeks of getting off of Accutane and only kept it on for less than half the usual time. And my skin still just completely burned off (luckily it wasn't a big spot).. I guess waxing wouldn't be as bad as a chemical removal but still I wouldn't so it just yet! Hurts like hell and looks terrible when your skin is off.
