Blood pressure medication for acne? I never heard of that. And I am against using bp medication(what's your bp anyway?). And I am against using oral antibiotics for acne too... doxy will work only as long as you take it, at will wreak havoc on your body, especially on beneficial bacteria.Topitacl retinoid + benzoyl peroxitide it's a much better choice, especially long-term(although you might have some minor breakout because of retinoids)

Used to take it. Didnt work for me, when i stopped using it acne became x10 worst.

There are different creams, and different aproaches to them. Topical retinoid will deal with your blackheads, but it can cause breakout so topical benzoyl peroxidite is for that. Doxycycline is NOT an answer, unless I don't know you have wedding next month and want to look faboulus. Because yes, doxy most likely will clear your face. But only as long as you take it.
Try also change pillow cases as often as you can.
Don't touch your face.
Try maybe natural vitamin a, drink juice of carrot.
Try it for few months, unless like I said you have to deal with acne very fast then take doxy. But usually acne is nothing urgent, is better to try something less harmful first. Derms are often useless, for example they sometimes prescribe topical antibiotics without topical retinoid, so this can't work long term(or even usually short term)

I just finished taking it for 3 months. I was prescribed it for perioral dermatitis, which it cleared up really well, but my normal acne not so much. Took forever to start doing anything for my acne, barely helped it at all actually, and now since coming off of it, my skin is kind of getting worse. Acne spots are super red and taking forever to heal, like seriously ive had this one spot for like 3 weeks, its trying to heal but just wont. Doxy is just a huge useless waste of time i think..
