So i've finished my 8 month course last May and my skin has been... alright. A couple large zits but that's pretty much it. Yet in the past 1 1/2 months, a lot (relatively) of nose acne started to develop.
I didn't get nose acne once during my course and it was extremely uncommon BEFORE i took accutane, so there has to be some link to accutane. In this past month I have gotten at least 6 nose zits, as soon as once goes another one (or several) pops up. What is happening? I noticed my pore sizes on my nose shrunk a lot since accutane (and a lot of oil is developing in that area). Can anyone provide insight on what could be happening and how I could fix it? It's incredibly frustrating.
I finished Accutane in December. I ordered the regimen right away for maintenance. I don't need it anymore because I haven't had a pimple since February. The acne.org BP is amazing and I saw a difference right away. I recommend looking into the regimen and use a reduced version of it on your nose. It could be short term, but if you're squeezing or using various products you could make your problem bigger.
