Am I using this acne medication correctly? - CLIND1%SA2%GLYC3% NEOSTR SOL

I went to the dermatologist for the first time and she recommended me to use this.. I told her that I'm also on Benzaclin and she said to use it every other morning with Benzaclin for two weeks, then make the appliance of the NEOSTR SOL regular.
The problem is that when I apply this, (I've been using this for a week) to my face, especially my left cheek, the medications buns and stings my skin like crazy. Then my left cheek is especially red and before it wasn't like this with only Benzaclin... It mostly had dark spots but now it's like an inflamed, dry red patch...

My cleansing routine: - Day (only apply the NEOSTR solution every other day or else step 2 is eliminated)
1. Cleanse with CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser for Normal to Oily skin
2. Wait for skin to dry and apply NEOSTR SOL with a cotton ball
3. Wait for that to dry (while my face is on fire for the first few minutes) and apply CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion for normal to oily skin
4. I use the Olay fresh effects swirled mattifier when I have school or else I look like a tomato head.. :c

Nightime routine:
1. Cleanse
2. Benzyaclin

I also can't seem to find this specific solution on the internet so I don't know what the side effects are like.
Plus she said I could use it for my bacne as well but I doesn't seem to help at ALL.?!
and since it's a solution I have to apply using a cotton ball FOR MY WHOLE BACK which is really inefficient and I seem to be using a lot each time.

My next appointment is two months away and I don't want to continue using this.. On the side note my doctor barely looked at my acne before leaving.. (And basically had her assistant explain)

I've had acne since I was 10/11.. For 3-4 years now and I really really hate my skin..

It almost looks like they've made their own solution for you.
By what they've named it, it seems as if its got clindamycin (a topical antibiotic), Salicylic acid and glycolic acid in it. I'm not sure if it's an actual product or they just made a formula up for you, but in my opinion, that is way too many active ingredients to be using on your skin at once.
To be honest in the pictures it looks like it is giving you a low grade chemical burn.
Personally I would stop using it and either find another doctor or go back to her and ask for just a topical antibiotic cream (eg just the clindamycin), or something else.

Thanks for the advice, I'm thinking of going to my paediatrician to ask if I should stop using the medication/and about natural remedies.. (Olive oil, apple cider vinegar, aloe vera..)
but in the meantime, do you have any advice on how I should sooth my left cheek? Should I just use the benzaclin and my moisturizer? Or can I use aloe Vera as the moisturizer? (I have the plant) It really is such a shame that the medication is going to waste..:new_smiley_41: (Gross, but I've noticed that the dry patch thing feels a little sticky and damp.. With a weird clear sort of sebum? coming from it..)
Oh and I'm starting to use iodized sea salt and water in a spray bottle for my bacne.. i don't have non-iodized seasalt.. (I also have this fancy looking? apple cider vinegar this guy gave my family and it has no label..:new_smiley_42:) or should I just use the weird solution on my bacne?

Update:
I went to my pediatrition who told me to stop using the solution and that I should book a follow up appointment. I don't think I want to return to the dermatologist because personally, I thought that doctor was really rude and unhelpful.. I'm going to see him and ask if he could refer me to a different dermatologist? Hopefully I find a good doctor..
anyways ive stopped using the toning solution and am following my daily routine except I don't use the toner and I don't use benzaclin on my left check. (I'm using the CeraVe moisturizer in the morning and Vaseline at night..) my check doesn't look as irritates so that's good!image.jpeg.7ca9ff4068ef027992cd811b96976
I've also picked up a bottle Neutrogena Body clear body wash... Is it any good?
