Hello,

I started accutane about 5 days ago, my only side effect so far is that my scalp is extremely dry. I have red patches with flakey skin ALL over my head, and It is so bad I cannot go outside and even wearing a hat makes it worse. I visited my derm and she prescribed me shampoos, Ketaconazole and Clobetasol, and I've been using but the flakes are still there and my scalp feels even more dry. On top of my flaky and red scalp, I've noticed my hair thinning too.. I have extremely thick hair and it is being ruined . Someone please help, I am going to stop accutane If this cant be fixed.
