You should probably go to a dermatologist. It should resolve on its own over time, but if it's affecting your eye then it's probably better to be safe than sorry. The derm will probably give you a steroid, either in the form of a shot or pills for you to take for the next several days. I had hives once due to an allergic reaction to an oral antibiotic and the derm gave me a shot of prednisone that cleared up the itchiness and hives in a few days.
