Hey, I've been on benzoyl before but last time I had really bad side effects,(redness, dryness, peeling, the sore skin etc..). my acne did clear up but it has come back.
ive finished 5 months on isotrex (isotretinoin gel), but all my acne didn't clear, so I'm now on doxycycline 100mg pills, once a day. And I'm waiting for my prescription to arrive for some 2.5% benzoyl peroxide, I have sensitive skin and I don't want to have a bad experience again, what can I do to avoid these side effects? The redness, dryness etc...
Thanks.

You could try using moisturiser before or after you apply the BP and you should also make sure you only use a small amount of BP.
