Hi everyone I was prescribed erythromycin and benzoyl peroxide gel by my doctor and upon receiving it from the pharmacy I opened it at home and it is extremely chunky and water like. Should I take it back to the pharmacy? Is it supposed to be chunky or smooth? How long does it take to work?
Years ago, when they sold this in the UK, it was always a smooth gel. However, it then started being chunky - I think they changed the strength of the alcohol used to dissolve the powder - but still worked much the same.
