I am using tretinoin and a moisturizer for more than a month and i just had some side effects that i could handle. Last friday i got a red spot looked liked acne but it wasnt. I thought it would finally go away but then it spread to both cheeks and got a lot lot red and i have a huge feeling of burn. This is happening only where i have my red marks. Can i develop an allergy after using tretinoin more than a month? Its not a sun burn as its raining these days i also used a calendula cream and another one for burns. Nothing helped and it keeps spreading help me! :/
As someone who suffers from rashes/seb derm/irritated skin a LOT I really really recommend leaving it entirely. No topical, no moisturizer. Let it completely dry out on its own for a week
i find when I get irritated rashes from my epiduo or other factors, moisturizer tends to make it worse, whereas just leaving it entirely (even if it does get flakey) is best

what are rashes/seb? ... I have those red bumps under my skin that looks like rashes idk. At first I thought it was acne but when i went to the dermatologist 2 years ago he told me that it wasn't acne and that I should check if I have any allergies...Till this day I havent checked and I still have those red bumps under my skin after 2 years
