Accutane side-effect dry-eye wear off

Hi,

I was on 20mg Accutane per day for one month. After about 25 days my eyes started feeling dry. I then continued for a few days before finally deciding to stop taking it. So now I'm off Accutane for 2 days. I would like to know how long it will take for my eyes to get back to normal.
Since I already had some problems with blepharitis before taking Accutane (actually Accutane was an experiment as a treatment for my eyes but that's another story) I specifically discussed this topic with my doctor. He ensured me that a low-dosis treatment like 20mg/day for only one month wouldn't be long enough to cause any permanent side-effects. Still, since my eyes right now feel quite a bit worse than before taking Accutane I am a little bit worried.

So, how long will it take until my eyes are back to normal?

Thanks in advance for your efforts!

I hope it's ok to push this. It went down so much because it had to be looked at by an admin first apparently before making it public.

when will be your next appointment with your doctor? you might want to discuss this problem with him so he can prescribed you with eye drops, etc. im also on my 4th week of isotretinoin now. aside from chapped lips, i also experienced dry eyes especially when i prolonged myself in front of computer or while reading. but it's tolerable.
