I have mild acne. I have it on my face, chest, and back. So my question is what medication should I be on. I was thinking Retin-A, Tetracycline, or minocycline, although I am open to other suggestions. Also, I have a few boxcar scars which are fairly shallow, and I'm looking for something to help clear them up that isn't really expensive, obviously after my acne treatment is over. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Btw- Im 16, male, and currently use Erythromycin Benzoyl 5%, and It reduces size, but they just come back.

Your acne is super mild. Why not try diet changes before chaining yourself to a topical regimen.

I agree with Lee, I would honestly recommend looking at making some diet changes and perhaps googling food that you typically eat that could be affecting your acne. Try to stay away from antibiotics, and any extreme creams with high % BP because honestly I had acne like yours and it progressively got worse when I started using a ton of creams from the dermatologist until the point I had to start accutane. Try to experiment with different regimes and surf the forums for some over-the-counter products instead.
