Hi, guys. I'm new to the forum, but have been looking at posts since it seems like the 8th grade. I'm currently a senior in high school now. My parents both suffered from acne as kids and still do with rare breakouts. As you can see in the photos, I have white bubble looking spots all over my face. I did about every acne medicine my derm gave me until Accutane. I'm 3 months into it.

Unfortunately, I got this HUGE red cyst or whatever looking thing. It's soft to the touch, but hurts. It's even starting to affect my vision. I first got it 1 month into the medicine. My derm put this medicine, can't remember what it's called, but a needle with medicine in a .25 mg dose and it went down in about 2 days. It came back approximately 2 weeks later. This time, she put a .5 mg dose and it took 3 weeks for it to come back. Then she put .75 mg dose, and it took a while month for it to come back.

I asked my dermatologist if there was an option to get off Accutane for a while and treat the cyst thing with antibiotics, but she said she's seen such great results with the Accutane and the thing is so localized, that she's not sure if she could treat it. And she said that she can't pop it or drain it while I'm on the medicine.

Any advice on what I should do would be great. I'll check back on the post frequently in search of an answer. Thank you so much everyone, please refer to the attached photos. post-476345-0-24635800-1435603284_thumb.

Update, another derm said he could inject, but better to get off Accutane for a month so I could get minor surgery to remove it since it's so close to my eye.
