Hi all, ive been on Tazorac for the past week or so, and i am not expiercing any of the common side effects, aside from a little dryness/flakiness, and when i say little i mean LITTLE like barely any. My face does not burn, it only turns red though. So my question is, is this a good sign or a bad sign? Will tazorac work? Cheers !

I was on Tazorac for years. Never had any noticeable side effects, not even in the beginning, and not even if I used it twice a day, etc. I even got light acid peels while I was on it and still no bad effects (I wouldn't recommend that unless you are super super sure it's not doing to harm your skin. It's best to do a "test patch" if you're going to try something risky.)

It worked for me for a long time (but eventually stopped working, but that's due to a lot of other factors I won't get into here.)

Point is, I wouldn't worry about not having side effects.

Hi there. I've been using Tazorac gel 0.05% for a little over two months now (combined with minocycline oral) at night. I love love Tazorac. It was sent from the retinoid gods (lol) in my opinion. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin so I didn't put moisturizer on before applying Tazorac. The only side effect I noticed was a slight stinging sensation and a bit of itchiness after application but that has gone away now. My face does seem more sensitive than it was pre-Tazorac so I use is a gentle oil-free cleanser morning/night and Cetaphil moisturizer before makeup. :)
