I'm on my final two weeks of a 6 month course of accutane. My face is pretty much clear of any inflamed acne, however It is filled with nasty looking redmarks, many of which have been there from before treatment. For those of you who went through accutante, how long did it take for your red marks to fade naturally? Did they start to fade faster once you stopped treatment?

Thanks!

I'm on my 4 month and I'm experiencing the same, personally when I use to go on holiday abroad and get some sun I felt that helped clear up my red marks ( obviously don't go out in the sun if your still on the drug ) I also tried this red/ blue light treatment last year before I started accutane and it helped clear up the red marks :)

Hi - It's been almost 10 months since I stopped my course, and my red marks are still there. That being said, they have faded to a point where I think I am the only one who really notices them.

Fair enough! it depends on the lighting and irritation factor- any kind of blushing or irritatation tends to make it more noticeable they also stand out in florescent light (but so does every flaw, I think most people have that problem!). Either way - they have faded quite a bit, it just took time, patience and sunscreen.
