I just started using epiduo (tactuo) a few days ago, I'm just starting to break out a bit now. My doctor prescribed the birth control pill too.

He said that the pill will stop from new acne coming and the epiduo will take care of the current acne on your face, so I'd only have to use the epiduo for 3 refills (9 months, including the one I have now.

My skin has a lot of dark marks from hyper pigmentation, blackheads and clogged raised pores but not acne pimples with pus.

I'm just wondering if this seems legit and if I'm doing the correct thing. Epiduo is super expensive for me and I don't want to have to keep using it.
