Hi I'm here for some advice as I have. Recently developed acne, I am 15 years old and never have I ever got a spot and now out of no where both of my cheeks have got acne it has been there for 5 months I have tried various different topical gels anywhere from duac to isotrex, when I first went to my doctor he gave me duac I kind of already knew this wouldn't work as it never has for my family members then my cousin gave me differin I felt like it worked in the beginning and then stopped all together and after giving up using differin and duac my mum found isotrex gel from when my brother used accutane and isotrex gel, I used this for a good month and this was the only thing I thought had actually helped as all my inflamed acne had gone down to the surface and my spots were actually disappearing but then my bad luck jumped in, I ran out of the isotrex and my mum misplacrd the other isotrex gels so I missed a week without isotrex which cause it to come back, my acne wasn't so bad but it had got worse to when it was getting better my mum called my doctor and booked an appointment I told her all of my history on how I had used differin duac and. Isotrex and isotrex was the only think that worked for me and then I also told her I have a kitten and all if that causes acne and she was a really good doctor and actually spent time on me she explained what acne actually was and how it starts she then told me that they do have isotrex gel on prescription so she was going to give me that as it had helped me before but along with that she was going to give me a antibiotic for acne too which was called tetralysal I started yesterday and have a course for 3 months she told me it should be gone by 3 months but if not then I should go and see her again
