You guys should really check out this new study done on taking an antihistamine and isotretinoin both together. The study suggests that taking antihistamines reduces the side-effects of isotretinoin. Interesting!

My derm told me this yesterday, and actually prescribed me an antihistamin himself.

This is verrry interesting! I could only access the abstract so I don't know what the dose of the antihistamine was. Also, was Loratadine the antihistamine?

What did your derm prescribe to you and how much? I'd like to discuss this with my derm next appt.

I'm on my 3rd round of Accutane now and have some of the side effects mentioned.

Thanks for sharing!!
