Hey Derp..how are thing
well I woke up today with 2 new spots
side bridge of my nose by my dark circle..again and outside of my eye
*sigh*
really started to freak out
I either think about blasting my face and going on 80 mg for the 6th mnth and stopping or stopping all together because these dumb spots loook nothing and are not located where i normally break out
I dont know if its dryness or irritation or what???!!!!!!
I have the same spots in the same places, the others are on my cheeks and jawline. In the past I would break out on my chin and forehead. So it's totally unlike my natural breakouts. I am really think it's irritation, possible from sunglasses! And the outer eye seems to be related to either eye makeup remover, or fluid from the eye that comes out when I sleep?? Right there with you sister. My vote is no tane to see if you clear up. 80 isn't going to make your skin calm down.

I thought it was because of my glasses...so stopped wearing them and am back to contact lenses
I also stopped using the warm washcloth on my eyes in the am to see if that has anything to do with it..I would prefer to walk around with dry gummy eyes..but no
Im just scared if I stop and continue these red blips I will regret not staying on longer or increasing my dose...but if i increase my dose and fry and irritate my skin further...and continue red blips..Ill be pissed too

I definitely think you are just seeing side effects of dry skin and not breakouts or pimples, especially because of the area where these new spots are. Skin can be very dry even without peeling. don't be afraid of using a good heavy moisturizer at night. we have no working oil glands, it's not going to hurt like it would have before accutane.
Nothing new for me. My face itches a bit. Don't know why!

dont know if that has anything to do with it..but now i am DRY and need hydration

Im tossing and turning all night...up at 6:00am no matter what..HAVE NO CLUE WHY?
My face is tight red and dry and for the FIRST time in mnth 6 Im flaking a little
i did switch a bit back from an oil or jelly cleanser to sensitive foaming ..and the red spots stopped..maybe timing..who knows but now im DRY and flaky

Hmm.. Not having the best of luck.. I used to have red patches on my upper cheek with big pores in it but they went away on accutane and now they're back. Month three is coming up soon so I'm excited to talk to me dermatologist!
The joint pain is terrible for me.. Just sleeping hurts. I wake up and whatever side I sleep on hurts. It even hurts to breath.. Meh
I'm so God Damn tired all the time but for some reason I can't sleep at night unless I take melatonin.. Which makes me have crazy dreams. Last night I dreamed I was in Iraq and there were terrorist targeting my family and I because we're white. And so one terrorist shot my sister and she turned into a bean bag chair... Yeah... Gotta love melatonin!
Also it's been cold and rainy like hell in Colorado so maybe the rare high humidity is making me breakout more. Doubt it because I started breaking out for a fourth time before the weather Got like this. I wouldn't say I'm getting new zits it's just everything that's been there randomly becomes inflamed. But now that I'm starting month three soon maybe this is my month that's going to be good! I'm going to get fish oil pills to help with body aches and hopefully it will make my face not be so inflamed. I'm off to bed... Well at least try. Night everybody!
Ps... I haven't been posting because I had bronchitis and laryngitis. I'm glad it went away sorta because I didn't want to have to stop accutane to take an antibiotic
Oh and by the way I said this before but GET epiceram for a moisturizer! I know it's very very expensive but it's a prescription so if your insurance covers it, it's like $10 actually I think the only way you can get it is a prescription. It's a thick cream but goes on light. It will make you moisturized! It pulls moisture from the air and puts it in your skin. It seriously takes away flaking like a champ! I had an initial breakout with it but my skin does that with ANYTHING new.

I think the breakout is simmering down! Way less inflamed. I haven't had a new zit in three months but like I said all the old spots like the flare up. Feeling okay today aside from a nasty sore throat but I'll live! And haha my arms are hell too. Red dry spots everywhere but the cream my derm gave me takes it away. Cant believe I'm just says away from being half way done. I feel like I just started accutane! Aside from this, my lover gets home from being away for three months tomorrow! So fucking excited! He works with international companies so this is the norm. But I'm glad I'm Looking decent before!
Also, I started fish oil today, I absolutely hate fish and any seafood so I figure this is a good idea. There's no vitamin a in it I made sure. It's from nature made and it's 1200mg or 360mg of omega 3. They're huge!! But my accutane is absorica which is also huge so Im used to it. Back story, I was traumatized at taking swallow pills since I was a kid, because I had asthma, I had to take steroid pills that would make me throw up and dry my throat and mouth so ever since then I've been terrified. I was the only kid that preferred liquid medicine. I got over it though. I swear if I have a fishy burp I'm going to vomit

Guess what happened to me yesterday guys? A ''real'' new zit. It's not so big and not so inflamed but it's still a white head and I know it is the kind that takes years to go away. I guess I will be one of those who says that Accutane did almost nothing. I can't imagine when I'll be off the pill... How could not the acne be coming back like before?? It's funny since I didn't have a severe acne, I would say mild-moderate but very stubborn. I thought Accutane would work very well and very quickly on me, since most stories that I read were from people having really severe acne. Well, I guess that's life!! I'm not gonna whine on a small zit. I'm just being paranoid that full force acne is just around the corner.

Im actually feeling guilty about even being on tane....sort of like tane is showing me...how dare I go on tane for mild persistent acne

I have 2 flat black heads and 2 pin head whiteheads that aren't going anywhere..at least no redness and inflammation
the nose thing..I don't know if/how it might progress
again not where i thought i would be
but im really just looking forward to finishing and getting on a routine and moving forward

I am a week away from starting month 5 and I still have all sorts of stuff going on. I woke up with another red spot on my cheek which was angry and inflamed but no head. I still have several other spots on my cheek and chin from last week that are healing. The other new development is a big old white head on my back that I couldn't help but squeeze over the weekend. I noticed another smaller non white on my back this evening. Oh and I stopped taking 60mg and went back down to 30 again bc I thought that's why my face was exploding. It's improving but not at all clear yet. You guys...why isnt it giving us poreless vampire skin like all of the people on YouTube...? Are you all taking Absorica? My box says once daily dosing is not recommended. Ugh.
