This is almost a poll/survey,

i've been using Retin A 0.05% for 6 weeks now for my moderate to severe acne. There's been no worsening or improvement and i've had no side affects bar some light flakyness! When should I start seeing changes?!

I used Retin A for a while before and saw no results =\

It takes at minimum 3 months for your skin to turn over so any improvement would most likely show at that time (for some people it takes longer). If at 4 months you are not seeing changes, i would suggest you revisit this with your derm.

I was on Retin-A for a bit over 3 months and saw slight improvement but still got some big nodules and was still having breakouts, so now I've been on Accutane for almost 5 months and my skin has cleared so far, although I get occasional small pimples.

I've been on retin A only for a week, yeah I get it "well what do you know?". The thing is I have very sensitive skin and moderate to very very slightly severe acne, and retin A cleared that up like magic. Retin A is supposed to make you break out and flake and make your face red and itch and everything hell, but I've only itched and flaked a little. In fact, redness has decreased (wtf?) What I'm saying is Retin A is "supposed to do (blank)" and "supposed to work in (blank) amount of time" but everyone's different. Who knows, if you wait just a bit longer it can clear you right up. If not, try something new!

I'm still in the same boat as when I started this thread, no improvement whatsoever. But out of curiosity, how are you going on retin a now? Still clear?

I have been on 0.05% at night along with ampillin 1000mg and duac in the morning for almost 6 weeks now, the only results I've seen is smoother skin :/
