Hey!
I know this topic has been covered quite a bit but I'm just curious as I haven't had any dry skin or flaking at all from the med, (I assume the low dose?) And my dose hasn't been and won't be increased if there would be any issue with getting a tattoo?
I read the tattoos can be an issue when the skin is dry and since that isn't a problem I'm thinking go for it ....

You should definitely talk to your derm about this. Accutane is causing all kinds of changes within/underneath your skin that affect how it grows and heals, which is important for tattoos. Even if you don't have side effects, it's possible that your skin would be a lot slower to heal, and that could be a problem for a tattoo (maybe?) At any rate, tattoos are kinda serious and hard on your skin, and you should be cautious. Plus, they are expensive! Don't want to mess that up.
Ask your derm and let us know what they say. I hope they say it's no problem!
