I used differen for about 6 months, in conjunction with an antibiotic. My skin became really dry, especially my lips - at the time I put the dry lips down to the antibiotics, but it could well have been the differen.

I don't remember getting an initial breakout with differen, however the acne that i did get changed. It was more like bumps under the skin, than the cyst/puss type pimples. Overall I don't think it worked for me. My dermatologist advised me that I may not see any results for months, but 6 months was long enough for me.

Dry lips is not a listed side effect of Differin.

Maybe,when you are applying the Differin,some of it slips into your lips,causing the dryness. Watch out for that.

The breakouts are normal. You have to give Differin 3 months minimum to see if it is working.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if what the difference between 0.1% and 0.3% Differin is? Would 0.3% speed up the process, has it been proven better than 0.1%? Thanks
