I started using epiduo about a week and a half ago. My acne has become much worse than it was before using it, but I read you breakout initially so it is normal. How long does this initial breakout last and how long does epiduo take to work?

Quite normal. You may not want to hear this but you may break out and experience irritation for up to 3 months. The key is consistency and stayng positive. More is not better so stick to the prescribed dose. If at the end of 3 months you have not seen CONSISTENT improvement, then it is time to revisit your regimen. It may help to take pictures so that you can track your progress.
