Last fall, I started a round of Accutane to clear up recurring cystic acne.

I switched jobs and lost my insurance coverage about two months into my treatment. By then, my acne cleared substantially, so rather than pay for accutane + office visits out of pocket, I quit taking it altogether.

Fast forward to last month. My hormonal, cystic acne is back.

While cleaning out my closet, I found a couple boxes of my leftover accutane. It hasn't expired. I'm tempted to take it.

I'm not pregnant or planning on getting pregnant. I'm on birth control.
