Just started a 6 month course of accutane (20 mg). I'm a week into treatment and my skin only seems to be improving. Does this mean i should no longer expect an initial breakout or is there still a chance that i will breakout again in the upcoming months? Any responses would be much appreciated.
Hey. I just started Accutane about 4 days ago. I'm not done with a full week of course, but my skin has broken out just a little. I've read where some people never have an initial breakout and some do. Some initial breakouts occur several weeks into the treatment, or so I've read. I suppose everyone is different. But, I hope you never do experience an initial breakout! Lucky! Has your skin dried out much yet? I'm prepared for the dry skin, but haven't experience anything too crazy yet.
