Hi all.. I am a bit concerned that my nose and its sides are a bit oily once again (nothing like they were originally) while I have been taking Accutane 20mg a day for nearly a month now. The oil had pretty much subsided till about 3 days ago. Also, might I add, I had a few drinks on Saturday.
Is this normal? I have my next appointment with my derm this saturday, should I be concerned and consult ASAP?

No, your skin is still adjusting to the accutane in the first month, so you may notice that your skin oscillates from dry to oily. If you haven't had an initial breakout thus far, you may notice a flare-up in the next couple of days, but it's totally normal if you don't flare-up as well. Basically, expect your skin to be a bit unpredictable during the next few months.
