Hello lads, i started on roaccutane 4 days ago and my skin is already feeling dry! I have no previous experience with using moisturizers so i have no idea whats good and whats bad! My doctor recommended me something called 'Aveeno cream' which she used to use for her eczema.

Want to purchase a decent one soon as walking around with a bright red face is bad enough and don't want to have noticeable dry skin! Also how often do you guys apply the moisturizer?

cheers

I use Eucerin Replenishing Face Cream for Dry Skin with 5% Urea and it's awesome. It's not the cheapest, but it works like a charm. Also, i mix a few drops of jojoba oil at night. My face feels comfortable all day without a greasy feeling. (i had very oily skin before accutane). I'm now going to introduce vitamin E oil in my nighttime routine. I heard it's awesome to moisturize and get rid of flakey skin, while being effective with hyper-pigmentation, which i get so easily.

Aveeno is a great brand also, but i don't have access so easily to the brand in my country, unfortunately.

I apply the moisturizer twice a day (in the morning before sunscreen and makeup), and at night before sleep.
