I've been suffering with acne ever since my teenage days and I've only recently started treating it. I've been on antibiotics before but I was never satisfied with the progress. I've been on Roaccutane ever since late December 2013 and I will be moving to Melbourne, Australia for university. My current problem is that my current dermatologist won't prescribe me my full course of Roaccutane and I'll have to get treated in Melbourne instead. I've been stressing out for the past few days because I've seen significant change and I don't want to go back to taking antibiotics (they don't do anything to me). Has anyone ever been in this situation? And is it hard to obtain a Roaccutane prescription in Melbourne (for women, specifically).
Side, unrelated question: If anyone knows an affordable derm in Melbourne, can you please provide the details to me (through pm)? I will be on the OSHC and I've no idea if Roaccutane will be covered. Thanks!

If you are already on Accutane, I can't imagine it would be hard to get the prescription refilled. If you've already started the course, it makes sense to finish it to try and get the maximum results from it. I can't really help you with an affordable derm in Melbourne, sorry, as my derm is on the expensive side. I would try and organise it ASAP though as the wait lists for derms down here are long. I don't think getting on roacc is very problematic, I'm on my third course (I am male), a lot of derms believe in the drug very strongly. Good luck.
