It honestly just really depends on the person and how you react to the medication. Everybody is different. I am on my second course of accutane. My first course, I took it for about five to six months. By month five for me on my first course of acctuane, I was completely clear and my skin was glowing. I have pics on my gallery in my profile if you want to check them out. Some people don't actually become really clear until the end of their accutane journey and that is because accutane is still in the system for a little afterwards. Unfortunately for me, my acne came back which sucks so I am on my second course. My current derm thinks I wasn't prescribed a high enough dosage during my first course. I am on my first month of my second course of accutane and i have dramatic results compared to my first course. Good luck to you! Accutane is a miracle drug!

Day 5 - sounds stupid but it seems to be working for me from day 1 my back shoulder and chest seem to be less red and painful but 2 big cysts have formed on my shoulder but are pain free which is good, face getting dryer as well as my lips looks like my skin is peeling haha my only dislikes about the tablet so far is joint pains and a horrible taste in my mouth which could just be me but i never had before taking accutane ( head little itchy )
