I wouldn't recommend taking Yasmin if you can avoid it, I was on it for quite a while and although it did the trick and cleared my skin, since stopping taking it it's got worse and worse and has wreaked havoc on my body, so really it's a temporary fix seen as you can't stay on it forever.
Oh right. Has the comedonal acne come back since?
Yes, after stopping yasmin I got a rebound breakout. It made my skin even worse than it ever would have been on it's own. Thankfully I got my skin under control my changing my diet.

This is the same thing that happened to me.
What how is that possible? Have you had this effect with other birth controls?
I'm not sure how it is possible, but I do know it is definitely possible. Other birth control pills can have the same reaction, but I have heard of more severe cases from pills containing anti- androgens (yaz, yasmin, diane, etc.)
