Has anyone taken yasmin and seen a decrease in comedonal acne?

Most my acne is closed comedones, any help would be great.

Yes, it completely got rid of my comedonal acne. However, yasmin cause me a bunch of negative side effects so I no longer take it.

I wouldn't recommend taking Yasmin if you can avoid it, I was on it for quite a while and although it did the trick and cleared my skin, since stopping taking it it's got worse and worse and has wreaked havoc on my body, so really it's a temporary fix seen as you can't stay on it forever.

Yes, after stopping yasmin I got a rebound breakout. It made my skin even worse than it ever would have been on it's own. Thankfully I got my skin under control my changing my diet.

I wouldn't recommend taking Yasmin if you can avoid it, I was on it for quite a while and although it did the trick and cleared my skin, since stopping taking it it's got worse and worse and has wreaked havoc on my body, so really it's a temporary fix seen as you can't stay on it forever.

This is the same thing that happened to me.

I'm not sure how it is possible, but I do know it is definitely possible. Other birth control pills can have the same reaction, but I have heard of more severe cases from pills containing anti- androgens (yaz, yasmin, diane, etc.)
