I need some help. I have moderate acne ever since middle school and I'm now a junior in college. Nothing seems to help long enough. My derm recently switched up my regimen so I'm using Cetaphil as a face wash, taking minocycline as an antibiotic, yaz, and ziana gel. I've used a retinoid-type topical before, I'm pretty sure it was Ziana or Retin-A. When I took it before, I developed these small red itchy bumps on my face. I've been using ziana for a little over a week and those tiny itchy bumps are back. They started on my jawline and are moving on my chin. I know Ziana has some side effects that have to be endured, but I'm not sure if this is one of them. Help me please.
