if oral antibiotics cleared my acne entirely a couple months ago before i grew resistant...why would my dermatologist prescribe me spironolactone claiming it will work??? augg i'm so confused

Because that's what doctors do. They never seek out the cause, only deal with the effects.

 

Ps... they are on Pharmaceutical companies payroll in case you already didn't know that.

It will be from a different strain. I don't like taking antibiotics. I think they compromise your immune system. I'll only take them if I'm desperate.

Different antibiotics for different strains of infection. Some are from the same family eg oxytetracycline and doxycycline or eurythromycin and clarythromycin. If you have become immune to one then trying another one from within the group for your infection usually works. Take plenty of yoghurt with good bacteria in it. It will help your gut maintain its flora.

Isn't Sprio a for those with acne that is hormonal???? I would check out the holistic forum or light therapy.
