Spot Treating On Accutane?

Hey everyone --

Does anyone on accutane have any recommendations for spot treatment?

I'm on Claravis 20 mg and so far I've been using aczone *LIGHTLY* only on problem spots to avoid drying out my skin too much.

Also, would you recommend Aquaphor or Neosporin on popped pimples? Which one heals them quicker? I know that aquaphor is more moisturizing, but neosporin kills the bacteria.

Any advice would be great :)

I would recommend to stop using any spot treatments on Accutane, I found quickly my skin became irritated and soon you won't need to be using spot treatments anyway :)

Thanks for the tips! I've stopped all of the harmful stuff (aczone or salicylic acid) and am just using neosporin to help them heal. So far it seems to be working! I see that you finished Accutane not too long ago, congrats 🙂 Do you have a monthly log or something? I'd love to hear how your experience went! I only saw your 1st month entry and pics on your page. Maybe I'm just oblivious and can't navigate this website (very likely) but anyways. congrats again!

Thanks! Hmmm you're not the first person to tell me that about my log, are you able to see the other pages? I think the photos are on page 4 :) Feel free to message me if you have any more questions about accutane :)
